INTRODUCTION
SUBAH Quetta is a non-profit, non-political and non-Governmental organization that works for all the communities without any racial, religious and ethnic discrimination. It started its function in 1998 from rural areas, focusing on Health, Education and Women Empowerment through service delivery, capacity building, research and advocacy. Subah has the honour of being one of the pioneers NGOs started working in the field of Family Planning, capacity building and skill development. Subah believes in “Need Based Approach” to materialize this theory, it gradually expanded its thematic area of work from one to several.
It became a training institute for these services, conduct training of trainer (TOT) high level and mid-level training government departments, training of teachers at different levels and provides management training to NGO’s, CBO’s. Organization has completed various Studies, Survey and service delivery projects.
Subah has a dedicated and committed group of young professionals for the promotion of communities, health, livelihood and development particularly that of women in Balochistan and to provide opportunities to youth in order to utilize their skill and competes the created challenges. The Organization was registered under the Voluntary Social Welfare Agencies (Registration & Control) Ordinance 1961 (XLVI) of 1961), vide Registration number DSW-895 with the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Balochistan during the year of 1999..
