Dr. Arif Mahmood Nasir (Founder / Chairman)

Dr. Arif Mahmood Nasir was born in Quetta, Balochistan. He began his educational journey at Commerce College, where he earned an elementary commerce diploma. He then attended the University of Balochistan, completing a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and a Master in Commerce (M.Com). His academic pursuits continued with a DHMS (Diploma in Homoeopathic Medical System), followed by diplomas in Electropathy, Acupressure, and Islamic Method of Shafa (DIMS), among others. Dr. Nasir also holds a Master in Biopathy, a DAC (Diploma in Acupuncture from ICA-Karachi), an MD-Doctor of Medicine (Alternative Medicine) from Colombo, Sri Lanka, and a PhD in Acupuncture from Vienna, Austria.

In 1998, Dr. Arif Mahmood Nasir founded Subah Quetta. As its Founder and Chairman, he established a chain of institutions including the Subah Grammar School System, Subah Sewing and Cutting Center, Subah Singhar and Beauty Seminary for Women Skill Development, and a Drop-in-Center for street and working children. As Chief Coordinator of Subah Quetta and a committed social activist, he developed a comprehensive Socio-Economic Development Plan for Balochistan (2017-18), focusing on Mother and Child Welfare and the Empowerment of Women.

Mr. Rana Fayyaz Ahmed (Vice Chairman)

Mr. Rana Fayyaz Ahmed is a visionary entrepreneur and the Managing Director of Moonlight International Publishers. A trailblazing figure in the publishing industry, even at a remarkably young age, Mr. Fayyaz's passion for learning and innate entrepreneurial spirit led him to embark on an extraordinary journey. Armed with a deep understanding of the importance of quality education, he set out to make a lasting impact on the academic landscape.

At the genesis of his career, Mr. Rana Fayyaz Ahmed ventured into the business of developing, printing, publishing, and marketing high-quality textbooks and supplementary educational materials. His mission was clear—to provide educational resources of unparalleled excellence to both public and private schools, making them accessible at reasonable and economical prices. Through his dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence, Moonlight International Publishers rapidly gained recognition as a premier educational resource provider, enriching the minds of countless students and teachers alike.

Beyond his achievements in the publishing industry, Mr. Rana Fayyaz Ahmed's unwavering commitment to enhancing the state of education extends to his role as a director in a prominent Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). Through this position, he actively contributes to fostering educational excellence on a broader scale. By spearheading initiatives that empower educators, support underprivileged students, and promote educational equity, Mr. Rana Fayyaz Ahmed demonstrates his belief in the transformative power of education to uplift communities and shape a brighter future for all.

Mr. Rana Naeem Ahmed

Mr. Rana Naeem Ahmed is the brilliant mind behind the success of Moonlight International Publishers as the Finance and Marketing Director. Armed with an impressive array of qualifications in finance and an innate flair for marketing, Mr. Naeem Ahmed's expertise has propelled the company to new heights in the publishing industry. With a strategic vision that aligns business acumen and creativity, he has implemented groundbreaking marketing strategies that have not only boosted sales but also enhanced the company's brand presence in the competitive market. His remarkable achievements in the publishing realm stand as a testament to his unparalleled skills and unwavering commitment to driving success.

In addition to his accomplishments at Moonlight International Publishers, Mr. Naeem Ahmed has played a pivotal role in Subah Quetta. His financial acumen and marketing prowess have been instrumental in developing and executing strategies that have significantly improved the organization's operational efficiency and outreach. By applying his extensive knowledge in finance, he has ensured optimal resource allocation and budget management, while his innovative marketing initiatives have increased awareness and engagement within the community. Mr. Naeem Ahmed's contributions have greatly advanced Subah Quetta's mission, fostering educational and social development in the region.

Mr. Javid Iqbal Nasir

Mr. Javid Iqbal retired as Director of Education, Bureau of Curriculum & Extension Center Balochistan (B-20) on July 29, 2010. He joined Government Service in the Education Department, Government of Balochistan. During his service, he was associated with the World Bank-assisted Balochistan Primary Education Development Programme (1993-1999) in various capacities and contributed meritoriously to several pioneering initiatives in Balochistan's education sector, such as Beneficiaries, Participation, CSP, PTSMCs, AMPE, BIMDTC, SAP, Admn, Audit & Accounts-SOEs. He made significant contributions to all initiatives undertaken by the Balochistan Education Department through PPIU under the Balochistan Education Reform agenda, particularly in the development of ECE and EFA plan for the Education Sector Plan.

Throughout his career, Mr. Iqbal received numerous training opportunities abroad, including USAID training in Curriculum Development, a study tour to Egypt & Jordan in 1992 on Education Management and Curriculum Development, and the Education Policy Analysis & Planning Workshop at The Harvard Institute for International Development, USA, in summer June-July 1995. He also participated in a study tour of Bangladesh to gain exposure to BRAC (UNICEF Assisted) and a study tour of Japan focusing on the Middle Level Education System and Technical & Vocational Institutes.

Mr. Javid Iqbal significantly contributed to strengthening the infrastructure of the Balochistan Boy Scouts Association (BBSA) through HR and institutional development interventions. He oversaw the planning and implementation processes of numerous interventions in the social sector (Education, Health, Water, and Sanitation) in collaboration with UNICEF, UNOCHA, and USAID, besides regular scouting-related activities.

Mr. Javid Iqbal has been associated with Subah Quetta since 2014. His extensive experience in education management and development has been invaluable to Subah Quetta. His strategic insights and leadership have driven the organization’s educational initiatives, leading to significant improvements in program development and implementation. His expertise in planning and executing educational reforms has helped Subah Quetta establish robust systems and practices, enhancing the quality and reach of their educational programs. Mr. Iqbal’s contributions have been pivotal in advancing Subah Quetta’s mission of fostering educational and social development in the region.

Mr. Mohammad Waleed Faheem

Mr. Mohammad Waleed Faheem was born in Quetta. After completing his SSC in the Science Group, he pursued an intermediate degree in Computer Science from General Mohammad Musa College, Quetta. He then acquired his BS in Computer Science from the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering & Management Sciences (BUITEMS). Following his graduation from BUITEMS, he joined Stanley Production as a Graphics Designer, where he honed his skills in Microsoft Office, HTML, CSS, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

As a young social activist, Mr. Faheem joined Subah Quetta in 2015. He brings valuable experience in volunteering, project management, and group facilitation. He has developed and taught a service-learning curriculum that fosters leadership development and interprovincial citizenship education. He is also a master trainer in IT and graphic design.
